Reflections on Christmas

“What is Christmas all about? Is it about receiving and giving gifts, spending time with your family, or celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ? All of those things can make up Christmas, but the most important thing is to remember that December 25th is when our savior was born. Jesus is the light of the world, our shining light in times of darkness. He is the way, the truth, and the life.

To me, Christmas means celebrating Jesus’ birth into this world because without him we are nothing. During Christmas time it is easy to get distracted and carried away with other things, but it is very important that we remember the true meaning of Christmas, which is to celebrate Jesus and what he means to us.
